Standard Joins Estonian Marine and Manufacturing Initiative

Standard is proud to announce that it has joined the Estonian Marine and Manufacturing Initiative (EMI). This network unites professionals from various sectors to provide tailor-made solutions for marine and land construction projects all around the World.

EMI was established in 2019 with the ambition of taking the Estonian shipbuilding sector to new heights. The network consists of carefully selected and highly experienced companies in various marine or construction related fields. The goal of EMI is to provide customers with turnkey solutions for large-scale marine and construction projects.

Jonatan Karjus, CEO of Standard: “We are delighted to join this export-oriented network of companies that has a vision for elevating the shipbuilding sector here in Estonia. With our capacity to deliver 6000 cruise ship cabins and hotel rooms per year in our 11000m2 modern manufacturing facility – we are a reliable partner the EMI family can count on.”

“At Standard we believe that collaboration is key when it comes to achieving success in any industry – especially shipbuilding. That’s why we look forward to working closely with EMI partners on upcoming projects where everyone involved can use their talents and resources for the best results,” said Karjus.

The team at Standard is excited about this new venture and looks forward to contributing towards the growth of Estonia’s maritime industry.
