The spectrum ranges from the HUGO pencil and HUGO BOSS to architecture, covering all design scales.
About Kai Stania:
Kai Stania was born in Salzburg in 1965 and began his architectural studies in 1987 at the Vienna University of Technology in Salzburg. In parallel with his studies in architecture, he began studying industrial design at the Vienna University of Applied Arts in 1990. Already in 1993, he moved to London to work as a project manager at Ron Arad’s studio. In 1996, he graduated with honors in architecture and became an assistant professor at the Vienna University of Technology. After one year of work as an architect, he founded his office “kai stania I product design” and has worked for design brands such as Team7, Bene, Rolf Benz, Durlet, and fashion accessories brands like Hugo Boss, Cerruti, Ungaro, Nina Ricci, and Cacharel. The designer lives with his family in his award-winning house in Vienna, where he combines living and working.”
