Warranty General Terms and Conditions
INTRODUCTION
General terms and conditions of the warranty are a document that determines the basic principles and procedure of the relations between AS Standard (hereinafter: the Seller) and the Buyer regarding warranty cases.
Warranty
- The Seller provides a five-year sales warranty for the sold Product (hereinafter the Warranty). The warranty period begins on the day following the day the Product is handed over to the Buyer. During the validity of the warranty, the Seller undertakes to replace or repair the defective or otherwise non-compliant Product free of charge within 60 (sixty) calendar days from the receipt of the claim stated in point 5.
- Products resold (and not produced) by the Seller are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
- The warranty is valid under the condition that the Product has been used for its intended purpose, maintained in accordance with the furniture handling manual, and the Buyer has followed the assembly instructions included with the Product when installing the Product.
- The warranty does not extend to the natural wear and tear of the Product, as well as differences in the wood texture and color of furniture covered with natural veneer.
- In order to exercise the rights rising from the warranty, the Buyer must notify the Seller of the defects that appeared during the warranty period within a reasonable time after becoming aware or should have become aware of the defect in the Product by submitting a written complaint to the Seller.
- In the complaint, the name of the defective Product or Product detail and the description of the error must be indicated and a photo of the defect must be attached. The delivery note received from the Seller or other document proving the purchase of the Product must be attached to the claim.
- The warranty conditions set forth in this clause apply to replaced Products as to new Products.
- The warranty does not exclude or limit the Buyer’s right to use other legal remedies rising from the law or the Agreement with the Seller.
